This study aimed at designing and assembling an improvised Logic Gates\nSimulator that can be utilized as an instructional device in basic digital electronics\ninstruction at Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus, Philippines.\nThis instructional device is believed to enhance the teaching-learning\nprocess and would also help address the scarcity of instructional equipment\nin the school and in the country. Descriptive method of research was employed\nto come up with the design of the simulator based on the course content\nof basic digital electronics subject. Acceptability of the improvised simulator\nbased on standards set in this study was gathered from the experts as\nrespondents using a self-made questionnaire. The data were treated using average\nweighted mean utilizing parametric scales with verbal descriptions.\nFindings revealed that the improvised logic gates simulator is highly acceptable\nin terms of its cost and availability of components, design and construction,\noperations, and troubleshooting features. It is concluded that the improvised\nlogic gates simulator is at par in terms of standards on instructional devices\nbased on the evaluation results of experts and is therefore recommended to be\nused in basic digital electronics instruction. The simulator is an innovative\nanswer and an alternate solution to the scarcity of instructional materials and\ndevices at Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus....
The characteristic behavior of the inductance and capacitance of multi junction\nac Josephson effect in superconductor has been presented. Few parameters\ncharacterizing the behavior of Josephson junctions are needed to evaluate\nfor technological applications. In this paper, the inductance and capacitance\nof the multi Josephson junction connected in parallel are evaluated, using\nsimple classical argument. The numerical results for inductance and capacitance\nhave also been included, indicating few technological applications....
In this paper, we present narrow-band substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) millimeter\nwave band-pass filters, designed using cyclo-olefin polymers (COP). The structures were molded,\ndrilled, and metalized with a laser direct structuring (LDS) process. COP are a type of thermoplastic\nwith low dielectric losses in the millimeter waveband, typically 7.5 X 10-4 at 40 GHz for the COP\nRS420-LDS from Zeon. The body of the filter was realized using a molding process that facilitates\nthe combination of thin 50 ohms microstrip access lines with high thickness microwave cavities through\n3D transitions, thus making high quality factors attainable. The simulations and experimental results\nare presented and discussed....
In this work, the analytical expressions of memristances, related parameters, and time domain behavioral analysis of the fractional\norder memristor have been proposed. Both DC with arbitrary delay and many ACwaveforms including arbitrary phase sinusoidal\nand cosinusoidal waveform along with arbitrary periodic waveform have been taken into account. Unlike the previous works, the\nformerly ignored dimensional consistency has been taken into account and the analytical modelling of the boundary effect has\nbeen performed. Moreover, both transient and asymptotic behaviors of the fractional order memristor excited by AC waveform\nhave been distinguished and analyzed. The effect of phase of AC waveform has also been studied. The influence of the fractional\norder to the areas of voltage-current hysteresis loop and memristance-current lissajous curve has also been clearly discussed and\nthe usage of fractional order memristor in the memristor based circuit has also been demonstrated....
